How to Manage Closed Group Membership Requests

When a user requests to join a closed group, group owners will receive an in-app notification notifying them of the request.

To approve a membership request

  1. Click through the notification OR visit the Members page of the group's settings menu.

  2. On the Members page, you'll see the membership requests listed at the top of the member list. Use the Approve or Deny buttons to grant or deny the user group membership.
    ​

  3. The person will receive a notification that they have been approved or denied for membership.

    • If approved, the user will be a group member and will be able to view the group's content.

    • If denied the use will not be able to view the group's content.
      ​
