We generally release new features and bug fixes around 3 pm PT, but that time is likely to vary. If you're not yet seeing these updates in your account, treat yourself to a latte and check back in a bit.

What's New?

  • Looker and Tableau In-Line Content Embeds.
If your team uses these platforms to manage and share real-time analytics and dashboards, you can now embed your data in posts, pages, and events. Simply use the /-command content editor, select Looker or Tableau from the menu, and add the content embed code.***

  • All New Video Dashboard Card.
A new card has been added to your dashboard card library, making it easy to add playable videos from YouTube, Vimeo, or Loom to your workspace and group dashboards. Simply look for the Video option in your card library. Learn more about all the ways to customize your dashboard. ***

***Looker embeds, Tableau embeds, and video dashboard cards are currently only supported on the web but will be coming soon to our mobile apps.

What's Updated?

  • Refreshed calendar dashboard card and All Events calendar preview.
We've made some awesome updates to our calendar views across the platform. You can now scroll between months to view even more upcoming events and hover over days with an event indicator to see a quick preview of the events on that day.

  • Super-Speed Access to Your Groups.
Your group membership reflects who you are at work—the team you're on, which office you work from, and the workplace communities you're a part of. We're excited to introduce a new header navigation tool that makes it easier than ever to quickly access your groups.

To the right of your notification bell, you'll spot a new person icon. Click this icon to see a list of the groups in which you're a member—click through to click through to quickly access the group page!

  • Easier-to-Search Events.
Our team has made a small update to the way events are returned in your search results. With this release, upcoming events will be prioritized higher in your results than past events, making it easier than ever for you to search, discover, and plan!

  • New People Directory Filter
You'll spot a brand new filter on your people directory—filter by Groups!

What's New on Mobile?

Download our mobile apps for iOS and Android to use Haystack on the go.

  • Ability to quickly add a team member to your phone contacts.
Simply click the three-dot button at the top right-hand corner of any team member's profile to add their name, title, email, and phone number to your phone's contacts list.

  • Support for the Countdown Dashboard Card
The countdown card you know and love on the web is now supported on mobile dashboards as well.

  • Super-Speed Access to Your Groups
In the footer of your mobile app, you'll find a new people icon. Click this icon for quick access to the list of groups in which you're a member!

  • [Recognition Beta] Ability to create shoutouts from mobile.

If your team is using our beta access Recognition toolset, your team members can now create and publish shoutouts on the go.

If you’re curious to learn more about the employee recognition toolset, please reach out to your Haystack contact or email us at support@haystackteam.com.
