New features, bug fixes, and product updates from the Haystack team.

We generally release new features and bug fixes around 3 pm PT, but that time is likely to vary. If you're not yet seeing these updates in your account, treat yourself to an afternoon autumn walk and check back in later.

What's new?

Brand New Activity Feed.
The newly designed activity feed pulls posts and events into a single, context-rich feed that makes it easy to ready full-text content, comment, and react without leaving the feed page. The new left and righthand sidebars make it easier than ever to explore and discover new content around your workspace.

Microsoft One Drive Search.
For those of you using OneDrive for document storage, we're excited to share that you can now search for OneDrive documents right from your Haystack search bar. Learn more about connected app search here.

A-Z Glossary Filter.
At the top of your company Glossary page, you'll find a brand new A-Z filter that makes it easier than ever to quickly jump to the terms you're looking for.

SCIM Support for Microsoft Azure.
For our teams using Azure for single sign-on, we are excited to share that we now support a SCIM integration atop your Azure configuration. This integration allows you to handle auto-provisioning and user profile data mapping all through Azure. If you're using Azure and would like to learn more, reach out to your Haystack contact for more information and documentation.

What's fixed?

Creating Content

  • Issues auto-sizing the content composer to best fit browser windows

  • Issues with additional, empty text lines before and after embedded in-line images

  • Lack of auto-scroll when composting long-form content

  • Missing warning messages when creating a resources page with no title

  • Issues embedding Vimeo videos via link and embed code

  • Issues added a tag from the suggested tag dropdown when using tags that include a dash (-)

People Management

  • Issues correctly mapping manager relationships for some teams using Okta & SCIM

  • Issues deactivating users for teams that are not using a single sign-on provider for provisioning and deprovisioning

  • Missing error messages when inviting an existing group member to a group

Admin Tools

  • Missing error messages when no results are found on the admin>manage people page

  • Issues with post view analytics on some reporting pages
