Sprint #25 2.4

This major release delivers a powerful new level of control over post and event notifications, giving administrators the flexibility they've long requested. We've also expanded our integration capabilities and released several important mobile and stability enhancements.

Here are the key improvements you'll notice:

Content Publishing & Distribution

  • Advanced Notification Controls for Posts & Events: Administrators can now precisely control where and how their audience is notified when publishing or broadcasting content. For email and mobile push notifications, you can choose from these options:

    • Silent Publishing: Publishes the content without sending any email or push notifications.

    • User Preferences: Honors each user's individual settings when publishing.

    • Alert All Users: Sends a notification to all users, regardless of their personal preferences.

  • You can also toggle notifications ON or OFF for Slack and Microsoft Teams separately. When broadcasting content again, the system will display the last notification settings used for that entity.

New Integrations & Mobile Updates

  • New Embeds: Scribe and PowerBI: We've expanded our integration library by adding new editor embeds and dashboard cards for Scribe and PowerBI. This allows content creators to easily embed interactive PowerBI dashboards and Scribe documentation directly into posts, pages, and groups on both the web and mobile applications.

  • Mobile Enhancements:

    • We implemented logic to hide specific profile fields where an organization requires stricter privacy controls.

    • We added in-app update reminders to prompt users to download the newest version of the mobile app.

    • The mobile application now supports dark mode for the native splash screen, providing a smoother visual experience.

Administrative & Security Updates

  • SCIM & HRIS Fixes: We addressed several issues with user syncing for both SCIM (Okta) and HRIS integrations, ensuring accurate user status and group membership are maintained.
