This significant release delivers sophisticated publishing tools for group owners and valuable data access APIs for administrators, alongside key updates to improve security and the overall user experience.

Here are the key improvements you'll notice:

Group Management & Content Distribution

  • Advanced Publishing Tools for Group Owners: Group owners now have access to granular publishing tools, enabling them to:

    • Send specific notifications to their audience.

    • Mark a post as "Must Read," ensuring the content gets the necessary attention.

    • Mark a post as "Secure," adding an extra layer of protection to sensitive content.

  • New Export Tools: We've expanded the self-service export functionality for administrators. You can now download lists of all workspace administrators and all users who are group owners, streamlining admin and governance workflows.

Data Access & Infrastructure

  • Pages Analytics API: A new public API has been released, allowing administrators to integrate with the platform and retrieve data on pages, including their content and view counts. This is a powerful new tool for reporting and data analysis.

  • Shorter Magic Link Codes: We've updated the logic for our magic link login codes, resulting in shorter, easier-to-read codes. This is particularly helpful for users who need to manually type the code due to mobile device restrictions.

Key Bug Fixes & Usability

We addressed several important bugs to enhance platform stability:

  • Group Membership: The team member count displayed across the platform has been updated to exclude internal support workers, providing a more accurate count of end-users.

  • Page Management: We fixed an issue that was preventing administrators from moving pages between groups from the pages list, as well as a related issue where the "Move" tool wasn't functioning from within a group's page list.

  • AI Search: The default language for AI Search has been set to English to ensure consistent search results.
