Welcome to the July 2026 product update! This month, we are taking a massive leap forward in our AI ecosystem by introducing direct support for protocol-based connections between Haystack and leading AI platforms.

Overview

We are thrilled to announce official integration support for Anthropic’s Model Context Protocol (MCP), connecting Haystack’s deep knowledge base directly with Claude. MCP is an open standard designed to securely bridge AI models with external workplace tools, data repositories, and content ecosystems. By enabling MCP support, your team can now interact with Claude using live, context-aware information retrieved straight from your Haystack workspace.
