How to Submit Event Requests ๐
Learn how to efficiently submit and manage event requests within the Haystack platform by following this step-by-step guide for group-based approvals.

1. Access the Main Dashboard 0:00

Log in to the Haystack platform.

Navigate to the main dashboard.
2. Create an Event 0:13

Click on the 'Create' button.

Select 'Create Event' from the options.
3. Select Your Group 0:21

Review the list of groups you are a part of.

Choose the group that allows event requests (e.g., Bowling Club).
4. Fill Out Event Details 0:28

Enter the event name (e.g., 'Bowling Party 2026').

Complete all required fields as necessary.
5. Upload Event Image 0:39

If desired, upload an image related to the event (e.g., a picture of bowling).
6. Choose Event Options 1:00

Select any additional options for the event.
7. Submit for Approval 1:13

Instead of publishing, click 'Submit' to send the request for approval.
8. Check Approval Status 1:26

To check the status of your request, click the drop-down arrow next to the 'Create' button.

Select 'My Requests' and navigate to 'Events'.
9. Edit or Delete Requests 1:46

In the 'Events' section, you can view all outstanding requests.

Choose to edit or delete any requests as needed.
