How to Submit Event Requests 🎉 

Learn how to efficiently submit and manage event requests within the Haystack platform by following this step-by-step guide for group-based approvals.

1. Access the Main Dashboard 0:00

  • Log in to the Haystack platform.

  • Navigate to the main dashboard.

 

2. Create an Event 0:13

  • Click on the 'Create' button.

  • Select 'Create Event' from the options.

 

3. Select Your Group 0:21

  • Review the list of groups you are a part of.

  • Choose the group that allows event requests (e.g., Bowling Club).

 

4. Fill Out Event Details 0:28

  • Enter the event name (e.g., 'Bowling Party 2026').

  • Complete all required fields as necessary.

 

5. Upload Event Image 0:39

  • If desired, upload an image related to the event (e.g., a picture of bowling).

 

6. Choose Event Options 1:00

  • Select any additional options for the event.

 

7. Submit for Approval 1:13

  • Instead of publishing, click 'Submit' to send the request for approval.

 

8. Check Approval Status 1:26

  • To check the status of your request, click the drop-down arrow next to the 'Create' button.

  • Select 'My Requests' and navigate to 'Events'.

 

9. Edit or Delete Requests 1:46

  • In the 'Events' section, you can view all outstanding requests.

  • Choose to edit or delete any requests as needed.
