Disabling Comments and Reactions Globally 🔇

About Comments and Emoji Reactions: The Read-Only Context
By default, comments and emoji reactions are enabled on all posts, pages, and events, fostering engagement. If, however, you need to create a more formal, read-only experience—perhaps directing feedback to a help desk—you can disable these social features globally.

Disabling Comments and Emoji Reactions (For Workspace Admins)
This setting applies to all posts, pages, and events in your workspace.

Click the account dropdown in the top right corner of your screen and select Admin Console.

In the left-hand navigation menu, click Security Settings.

Scroll down and toggle ON the Disable Comments or Disable Reactions switches as needed for each content type (Posts, Pages, Events).

Click Save at the bottom of the page.
Once turned on, users will no longer be able to add new social interactions. If there are existing comments or emoji reactions on your content, they will be hidden from the interface.
