Creating and Managing Templates

Using Templates (For Content Creators)

You should always check for a template first! It can make your content creation speedier than ever.

  1. Start Your Creation: Click the Create button and select either Post or Page, then choose the group where it will be published.

  2. Apply the Template:

    • If creating a Post: Click the up arrow (^) icon next to the publish button and select Apply Template.

    • If creating a Page: Click the three-dot button in the top right corner of the page and select Apply Template.

  3. Choose Your Guide: Select the template you want from the library. Remember, you can still edit and customize all the content once it's applied!


4. Finish composing your content and publish as usual.


Template Management Tools for Admins

As an admin, you have the power to create these amazing time-saving tools and share them with your entire team.

How to Create a New Template

All templates start out as private, just for you.

  1. Click the down arrow (v) next to the Create button, hover over Templates, and choose your content type (Post or Page).

2. Click Create Template on the bottom left corner of the modal.

3. Add a title, the body content, and any rich media your creators will need. Click Save.

How to Share a Template (Admin Picks)

The Admin Picks library is where you share templates so all content creators in your workspace can see and use them.

  1. Click the down arrow (v) next to the Create button, hover over Templates, and choose your content type.

  2. Click the three-dot button next to the template you want to share.

  3. Select Make Admin Pick.

  4. To remove a template from the library, just follow these same steps and un-select it!


How to Edit or Delete a Template

  1. Click the down arrow (v) next to the Create button, hover over Templates, and choose your content type.

  2. Click the three-dot button next to the template.

  3. Select Edit or Delete from the dropdown. (If you edit, don't forget to click Save when you're done!)

And there you have it! Templates make consistency easy, fun, and fast. Go forth and simplify content creation!
