August 2026 Product Release Update
Welcome to the August 2026 product update! This month, we are taking a massive leap forward in content lifecycle management with our new Freshness Engine while continuing to expand our protocol-based AI integrations. 🧹✨
Overview We are thrilled to introduce the Freshness Engine for Pages, giving Workspace and Resource Admins a centralized hub to audit, update, and manage content health. Alongside this, we have extended Auto-Archive to Pages and Events and successfully deployed our official Model Context Protocol (MCP) server sandbox—enabling direct, secure connections between Haystack and Claude for live, context-aware AI interactions. 🤖📱
What’s New in This Release
- The Freshness Engine: Easily review, filter, and maintain platform content in Admin Console → Manage Pages. Admins can sort by expiration or creation dates and immediately mark pages as fresh, extend expiration timelines, or archive stale resources.
- Auto-Archive for Pages, Posts, & Events: Set explicit auto-archive dates within Settings for both Pages and Events, ensuring outdated material automatically rotates off user dashboards. 🗓️
- MCP Server & Claude Support: Test AI connections safely in our new MCP sandbox. Live clients can now connect Claude directly to their Haystack knowledge base for seamless querying.
- iOS Accessibility Milestones: Deployed the final round of screen-reader and navigation fixes across our iOS app as we finalize our VPAT compliance certification. ♿
