Uploading Your User Data Pre-Launch

If you're in active implementation, you're probably eager to get your user profiles uploaded to populate your user directory, org chart, and more! The good news is that this is a super-easy process with a very critical first step.

⭐️ If you are uploading your user data before implementation, start here before taking any next steps.

  1. As you may know, email notifications about new content are sent to both active and unclaimed users. Learn more about user types here. This is super helpful post-launch, but not ideal pre-launch.

  2. To ensure that your uploaded users do not receive notifications before launch, we first must turn off email notifications.

  3. Visit your Admin Console and navigate to the Security Settings page.

  4. On this page, toggle off the Email and Mobile Notifications toggle. Like this:

  5. Once off, no notifications about new content, user accounts, etc will be sent to any users in your workspace. Giving you a safe space to upload your content, configure profiles, etc.

  6. Leave this toggle OFF until your launch day!

If you have any questions about these steps, please don't hesitate to reach out to your Haystack contact or support@haystackteam.com. We're happy to walk you through it!
