How to embed, edit, and manage in-line images.

Adding images to your posts, events, and resources pages is quick and easy using our content editor.

Uploading an image.

  1. Use the Create button at the top of the page to create a new post, event, or resource.

  2. Once drafting your content, type a forward slash [ / ] to open up the rich content menu. Select Image from the menu.

  3. Upload your image or select one from your workspace gallery. You'll see the image added to your post! Continue editing your content as needed.

Resizing an image.

Once your image has been uploaded into your post, you can easily customize it to fit your needs.

  1. You'll see that your image will upload in full, but it's easy to resize to best fit your post. Please note, to ensure your images appears successfully on all browser sizes and mobile, all images in Haystack are displayed full-width, but you have full control of the height.

  2. Click the horizontal line at the bottom of your image and drag up or down to resize your image as needed.

Captioning an image.

To add a caption to your image...

  1. Scroll to the top of your image and hover over it. You'll see an options menu appear. Click Add Caption.

  2. Your cursor will refocus to a small text line below your image. Add your caption here!

Hyperlinking an image.

  1. Scroll to the top of your image and hover over it. You'll see an options menu appear. Click the link icon.

  2. Add your URL in the text box and click the checkmark to save your hyperlink.

Deleting an image.

  1. Scroll to the top of your image and hover over it. You'll see an options menu appear.

  2. Click the trash can icon to delete your image.
